Breath in these long, high-sun, days. breath out your gifts and purpose.

It’s hard. It’s hard to live a life connected to soul, to heart, to the land, in contemporary culture. We seem to have traded away streams in favor of screens, forest and caves for a 401(k), and feeling our deep connection to heart blood, and bone for a wi-fi connection and an iPhone.

The Vision Fast is a pan-cultural practice for marking rites of passage, for seeking wisdom and guidance, and for deep communion with the natural and wild world. By taking a break from food, technology, interpersonal interaction, we make room. Room for clarity to settle in. Room to breath into the deep expanses of each moment. And in these deep expanses, something is waiting for you. A message. A song. An image. An encounter. A facilitated Vision Fast, can lead to great clarity, great responsibility, great beauty.

This is a seven-night program, four days of which are spent in a solo fast.

Day 1: Severance Ceremony attended by your friends and family

Day 2: The group of participants settle in, set intention, and prepare

Day 3: Vision Fast begins

Day 4: Vision Fast

Day 5: Vision Fast

Day 6: Vision Fast ends and transitions into integration

Day 7: Return Ceremony attended by your friends and family
