Meet Pete
What gives me any right to support you in your journey towards aliveness, towards purpose, towards meaning?!
It’s simple. I’m pretty lousy when I’m out of touch with my meaning and purpose. I’m depressed. I’m anxious. And on my best days, I’m longing for more from life.
And in that quest, I’ve spent the last 20 years seeking out experiences, relationships, teachers, concepts, trainings, certifications, jobs, adventures, ceremonies, projects, collaborations, and start-ups that, whether I knew it or not, we’re bringing me into aliveness, into meaning, into purpose.
And. One of the things that lights me up, is seeing other people lit up, lit up and alive and stepping boldly into their lives! It’s my kink! It’s inspiring and infectious!
I dared in 2016 to start my own offering, True North Facilitation, that helped people and teams achieve their goals while deepening their relationships. But it lacked something. Something round, and green, and blue, and humming with aliveness: The Earth! True North eventually morphed into Of Earth and Soul, a non-profit dedicated to the awakening of the human spirit.
I now get to create authentic communities with inspired resources to support people in their awakening primarily through Soul School, a program designed to help people identify their gifts, their vision and their contribution to their communities.
I’ve worked with over 4,000 people in this way since 2016. Through corporate retreats, 1:1 sessions, theatre pieces, talks, facilitations, writing, podcasting, teaching, guiding and leading online courses.
I am intimate with the process of awakening and aliveness because I need it. Daily. To save my life. To live the life I am here to live.
This work, at least for me, is not a “one and done” type of experience. There are breakthroughs, plateaus, and then moments of profound loss and confusion where I am asked to let go of a former identity that no longer fits and to welcome in mystery and becoming.
I share with you all that I have learned along the journey of being alive, of being heart-broken, back-broken, of despairing and depressed, of being in love, of being in ecstasy, of being afraid, of being committed to always coming back to me, my soul, my heart, and the belief that I am connected to wonder, and glory, and awe. Because.
